(More customer reviews)This tent is surprisingly good. Stansport is best known for low end tents so I was not sure if the quality would be there. I am a seasoned backpacker and I needed a replacement for my 30 year old Eureka Timberline which was too heavy and no longer waterproof. I liked the light weight and large floor space of the Star-Lite so I bought it over better known brands. I also like the full rain fly design. Most tents have partial rain flys so your sleeping bag can contact the side of the tent and get wet. I'm a little concerned of the possibility for splash during a heavy downpour or leakage passed the vestibule zipper but other than that, I'm pretty happy with my choice. The set up is a little more complicated than my Timberline but it is not too bad. There is an error in the instructions which refers to a rain fly pole. No such pole exists and it's not needed. I really like the compact size and light weight. Most backpacking tents are wider when rolled up and they weigh one to 2 pounds more.
